 Hot Stones Massage

A hugely popular form of massage therapy, this treatment is mainly used for the relaxation of muscle adhesion, improvement of blood circulation and release of tension or stress. Smooth water-heated basalt stones are carefully applied to key points on the body. This direct heat relaxes the muscles in a much shorter space of time, and the therapist can quickly focus on a deep working of the tissues using both stone and hand strokes which means that the massage itself is more effective and intense than it would be otherwise.

A Hot Stones Massage will make you feel nurtured, pampered and special.

Seated Acupressure Massage

Unlike acupuncture, acupressure massage does not use needles. Instead, the therapist uses their hands to stimulate the energy points which can be found all along the meridians, or energy lines, of the upper body. A specific sequence of movements is designed to improve the flow of energy throughout the body and balance and strengthen the body’s muscular, circulatory and nervous systems.

The client, fully dressed, sits in a specially designed massage chair, whilst the therapist combines massage with careful pressure to specific points on the client’s head, neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands. The treatment takes about 25 minutes and leaves you feeling relaxed, refreshed and energised.

Seated acupressure massage is excellent for relieving stress and tension and encouraging knotted, tight muscles to loosen up. It is gentle and non-invasive so it is suitable for everyone.
